I'm trying to find out why there is no implementation of Leap Motion support for WMR OpenXR implementation (as opposed to SteamVR OpenXR). Is something preventing the development of a driver?
There is a large flight simulation community that would love to get their hands on hand tracking (pun intended), now that Microsoft Flight Simulator has VR controller support. However arguably the best mainstream VR HMD for flight simulation is Reverb G2, and it only works reasonably well when set to WMR OpenXR runtime (the default). SteamVR OpenXR doesn't work well at all. I'm trying to find out if it's possible to make it work with WMR OpenXR but can't find any information. Is it just that nobody has decided to develop this, or is there a technical issue preventing this from happening? G2 is a very popular HMD for flight simmers, and there is high demand for hand tracking for MSFS.
