I recently got a Leap Motion controller and am using the current V5 Gemini release for tracking on a Windows 10 PC. Generally, I am very happy with it. That said, I am looking for ways to reduce the resources used by the controller/tracking and I am OK with a decrease in accuracy or framerate as a result so that I can get better performance out of the software that's receiving the tracking data and mapping it to 3D models.
Looking around online, I found discussions mentioning a "Low Resource Mode" checkbox in Leap Tracking software that sounds like exactly what I am looking for. This doesn't appear to exist in V5, though.
Is Low Resource Mode a hidden option somewhere and I am missing it, or is it missing from V5? If it's not in V5, what is the most recent / best version of the Leap Motion software I can try that does have this feature?
